Newhall CA, has vast amounts of gophers due to its close proximity to the San Gabriel mountains. This Pest unfortunately can be very destructive. Flies can also be found around the horse properties of Newhall and on a weird note, American Cockroaches are seen around the downtown area. Newhall is the only area to regularly get pest infestations of roaches. They tend to be most around the Main street section.
